Be There!

Be there! Save the date and mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 14th from 3:00-4:00pm CST.

Looking for tools to sharpen your vision, and increase your traction? Want to be empowered? Do you have an hour to invest in practical ways to further empower your students (or staff)?

I'm pleased to announce that NAESP is sponsoring a free "Virtual Book Talk" for all educators. We'll be spending an hour talking about a surprisingly simple framework for meaningful change. (This is NOT a discussion about change for the sake of change.) This is a conversation about how to create the innovative classrooms and schools our students deserve. The first 25 educators who sign-up and join the webinar will receive an autographed copy of my book, Renegade Leadership: Creating Innovative Schools for Digital-Age Students.

The first years in the classroom or principalship can be some of the most exciting and difficult years in education. It's imperative that we focus on what really matters during these formative years. Innovation is something that really matters, but it can be lost in the frenetic pace of education. Experienced educators have so much to offer, but at times their questions are perceived as "resistance to change." We hope you'll join us for some short stories, "how-to" tools, and a Q&A on March 14th. Meaningful change is possible and the status quo is already cowering!

Anyone can register and you do NOT need to be a principal or member of NAESP to join the conversation. I'm also looking for a teacher or two to moderate a backchannel on Twitter using #RenLead while our Virtual Book Talk is going on. Please DM me for details.

Renegade Leadership books are available on Amazon. For video resources and "audio outtakes" from the book's companion website, go to www.BradGustafson.com
