Share Your #LiteracyOLanterns Now!

It's that time of year! We hope you can join us as we celebrate another season of #LiteracyOLanterns. Participating is fun and easy: Pick a pumpkin and choose a favorite book. Sketch the cover (or main character) using a permanent marker. Fill in the black outline using acrylic paint...just like a paint-by-number. Post a picture to our hashtag on your favorite social media channel (#LiteracyOLanterns). Be sure to check the hashtag often so you can "follow" other literacy-loving educators, and share their cool creations with students! Feel free to paint your own, participate with your class, or host a pumpkin-painting party at your next staff meeting! Looking for additional inspiration? Print
